The Friends Author Luncheon has gained a reputation as the literary event of the year in Bristol. The 2024 event, featuring Ann Napolitano, added to that reputation. The 2024 Luncheon, which sold out all 300 tickets in three days, had a festive vibe from the beginning.  Guest author Ann Napolitano gave an inspiring account of how she overcame obstacles to become a successful writer. The author’s presentation was followed by Q & A and book signing (made possible with the participation of RJ Julia Booksellers).  Thank you to the Friends and staff of Bristol Public Library for their work to make the event such a success.
