Our administration is happy to announce that Bristol Public Library has won the Best of Hartford Reader’s Poll for the category of Best Library! The Hartford Courant‘s 2026 Best of Hartford winners were officially revealed on Thursday, June 4, 2026, during a celebration party hosted at Dunkin’ Park. The annual Best of Hartford awards honor the businesses, venues and organizations in Hartford and the surrounding area chosen to be the best by a poll of Courant readers.  This year Bristol Public Library was chosen as best library over all, with the Welles-Turner Library in Glastonbury and West Hartford Public Library being the 1st. and 2nd. runners-up.
