Newbery Honor-Winning Author Rajani LaRocca is visiting the Bristol Public Library! Join us on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 1:30 PM to meet this talented author in person and hear about the inspiration behind her verse novels Red, White, and Whole and Mirror to Mirror. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with a celebrated writer and fellow book lovers!

Lunch will be provided, and a Q&A and book signing will follow the presentation. This event is recommended for ages 9+ and registration is required.

Doors open at 1pm. Lunch served at 1:30pm. Author talk will begin at 2pm.

Rajani LaRocca was born in India, raised in Kentucky, and now lives in the Boston area, where she practices medicine and writes award-winning books for young readers, including the Newbery Honor winning middle grade novel in verse, Red, White, and Whole. She’s always been an omnivorous reader, and now she is an omnivorous writer of fiction and nonfiction, novels and picture books, prose and poetry. She finds inspiration in her family, her childhood, the natural world, math, science, and just about everywhere she looks.
